What is WiCS?
WiCS (Women in Computer Science) at UIC is a student-led organization dedicated to empowering women and
non-binary students in tech. We provide a supportive community through mentorship, technical workshops,
networking events, and professional development opportunities to help our members thrive in the field of tech.
The WiCS Lounge
Located inside the CS Lounge in SELE 2268, the WiCS Lounge is a dedicated space
for all WiCS members to study, collaborate, or just hang out in a welcoming environment.
Whether you need a quiet spot to work, a place to meet other members, or just want to take a break,
the lounge is always open for you!
